Verity Evans: I graduated from Italia Conti gaining the Acting Award last July having been there for 5 years. I first started at the tender age of 14 and graduated from the course at 19. Although performing is my main aim and interest I decided to enrol in this work based learning course at Middlesex University to support my future and widen my skills. I currently teach at Italia Conti Associates school and at Stagecoach Ledbury at weekends. Teaching is something I am passionate about and I love to see the children develop and improve. Stand up comedy is something I tried this year after graduation, it was a huge challenge for me and something that I felt I had to do for my confidence. My first gig was in Leicester Square in Leicester Square Theatre and there was huge pressure for me to deliver, this achievement is the one I am most proud of as I over came most of my fears and knocked down many boundaries when it comes to performing. Acting however is my main passion and I would definitely like to pursue a career in this aspect of theatre arts the most. My main inspiration is Judi Dench I find her work a high calibre and she is so interesting and engaging to watch!
